Diary of a Drifter House #4-Chapter 6-An Alien Among Us

I received a party invitation Dana Jameson from one of Tamika's friends.  He thought it a little strange that he received the call instead of his but he accepted the invitation for the whole family to attend.

Dana did visit the science lab once so Harry was familiar with her but it was his wife that was friendly with her.

Everything happened so fast that I didn't even see that it was time to sing Happy Birthday and I didn't realize that it was Dana's elder birthday.  That was not the only thing I didn't realize.

Dana had a little boy to take care of.  This must have been the reason why I was invited to the party.  David was the love child of Dana and Felipe Feng.  Felipe was the son of Victor and Lily Feng who lived in San Myshuno and he was also married to Angelica Goth.  David was the result of a one night stand when Felipe, as he called it, felt like slumming it for one night.  The Feng's were not going to recognize David as one of their's and they had the perfect leverage to use to keep Dana quiet.  Dana was an alien and she didn't want that information to get out.  Dana happily took care of David by herself without any problems until now.

David was still a toddler and with her elder birthday here she knew that the chances of her staying alive at least until he was a teenager were not good.  She couldn't send David to live with his father as the Feng's wanted nothing to do with David.  She couldn't send David to her home planet as David was born human like his father.  Yet she wanted a legal guardian for David.

She asked Tamika if she would like to be his legal guardian.  Tamika said she would only if it was ok with me.  Dana was probably going to outlive me so if Tamika was fine with taking care of two children on her own, I had no objections.  I even suggested that both of them move into the house now so David could get familiar with all of us.

There was no way I could say no to this as he is a cute little guy and I can't imagine why any man wouldn't be proud to be his father.  I also wanted to set up his own room and who knows maybe he will be interested in science one day too.

It did turn out that David's birthday was a day after they moved in with us.

I love my girls but I do have to admit that it was nice having another man around the house.

We did have an unfortunate incident during David's birthday party.

Rania died during the party and grim came to pick her up.

At least that is what they told us.  Tamika and I slept through the whole incident.

1. Create a 2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom home worth at least $50k Simoleons (after Depreciation)
2. Achieve level 10 of the Rocket Science skill
3. Achieve level 10 of the Scientist career
4. Travel to Sixam
5. Acquire at least three unique items exclusive to the Get To Work expansion
6. Befriend and Move In an alien
7. Produce and raise an Heir to the Young Adult lifestage
