I would like everyone to meet Darlene Holden. She is the sim that I am using for my attempt of Vihisha's Drifter Challenge. Please click on the link below if you would like to see the rules that I am following.
I heard a lot about this challenge but when I seen a friend mentioning on Twitter that she wanted to try this I asked her for the link. This is a different type of challenge than what I am normally used to as their are mini challenges before you can move on. I like challenges that make me play in ways that I am not used to and this one is like this. I am doing commentary but I decided that to do this in the form of Darlene writing diary entries. In my stories I usually write in 3 person so this is my attempt to try first person narration. I also decided to play this blind so I will not be looking at the next houses until its time for me to move on with the next heir.
Darlene will be my sim for House # 1 She was the Sim I originally made to do the Going Solo Challenge but I switch to Marissa Rose who is a sim that I have made and played in every single version of the Sims and she was the sim I played for the entire 8 year run of TSO (The Sims Online/EA Land) I kept Darlene in my library waiting for me to become more interested in Sims 4 (sorry can't lie I wasn't into this at first) and/or find a challenge that I would like to do with her. Somehow when you start with a completely empty world a sim who is into nature and growing plants seems perfect for the job. When I seen that I had chosen Freelance Botanist as Darlene's Aspiration I knew she was waiting for this challenge to come along. Darlene's traits are Cheerful, Outgoing and Loves the Outdoors.
