Diary of a Drifter-House #3b-Chapter 3-My biological clock is TICKING LIKE THIS

The next day I did throw a party for Israel and I did  send out invites to both Kayden and Luciano.

Now that Israel is an old man the other two do seem like better choices to me.  I mean if Israel was so fickle before he needed Viagra things should be worse now. However according to the rules I'm stuck with Israel as this place is like a roach motel and these men are the roaches.  They check in but they never check out.

I have no idea where Luciano went but Kayden made himself available.

After a little chatting and stargazing.

He had no objection to kissing me and ......

I asked him to go steady and he accepted.  He moved in with us that night too.

Mom awoke the next night and she decided to help out with the essences.  I didn't know that the cowplant fed on ghosts too.

I have no idea why these two started fighting but for some reason Dashawn is always throwing drinks in Israel's face.  I wish I knew what started this and I hope I'm not the reason.

Other than those two things were going smoothly.  I maxed my fishing skill and gardening is almost complete.  The harvests were bringing in mega bucks so I'll be able to build my dream house pretty soon.  Kayden and I were growing closer and than one day we had a really close call.

My boyfriend set the stove and himself on fire in the kitchen.

I remember the day that Dashawn set the house on first with his chemistry set so installed a sprinkler system as soon as I built the kitchen.

Well that was enough for me.  I have a legacy to continue yet I'm surrounded by idiots.

It's time to take things into my own hands.

I told Kayden to follow me because we were making a baby whether he wanted to or not. I think all three men seen my outburst because ......

All of them started helping out with the garden after I gave them the news that.....

I was indeed pregnant.  Now its time to get those men in this house in shape for the new arrival.

Diary of a Drifter-House 3b-Chapter 3-Shop Around

Before we knew it the time for Dashawn to become a young adult was soon here. However he spent a lot of time being sad and crying in the tent due to the fact that he didn't have a birthday celebration.

I really felt bad because I did bake him a cake but we had one small problem. No birthday candles.   Israel thought I bought the candles and I thought he bought the birthday candles so when it was time to celebrate we didn't have any at all. Luckily Dashawn did get over it after a while.

I was able to plant and grow another unusual plant like I did before in my previous lives.  This one is named the Audrey 4.

Mom visits at night to help keep that crazy plant in its place.

She also helps out by talking to my plants at night too.  It's really nice having Mom visit us from beyond every now and than.

I just wish she wouldn't break everything everytime she visits.

My Birthday rolled around and we seemed to figure out the birthday candle problem.   Dashawn and Stacie were there to help me celebrate but Israel was no where to be found on a very important day for me.

I was beginning to know something strange about Israel. Things would be fine and there was a little spark but as soon as I tried to flirt a bit he pulled back.  I started to wonder if he was really the one for me or not.

One night I joined him while he was dancing and the same thing would happen, he would flirt a bit but if I tried to kiss him he rejected it.

Mom decided to visit that same night and she seemed to have a message for me.

It seems that Israel may not be the marrying kind and that I should explore my options a bit more.

My Mama told me, you better Shop Around!

Tomorrow is Israel's birthday and I think I will throw him a party but I'm inviting Luciano and Kayden to come too.

Author's Note-As much as I try to have Everly interact with Israel nothing seems to work.  Her friendship bar looks like 75% and romance is about 25%.  They interect moving their friendship higher and I try flirting and pick up lines and everything is fine but after that he rejects and it moves both romance and friendship down plus she gets the embarassed moodlet.  He is one day from being an elder so I decided to try one of the others especially since she is an adult now.

Diary of a Drifter-House 3b-Chapter 2-Life goes On

It wasn't long before Mom started to visit us and we updated her about our lives.

Dashawn wants to be a body builder but he is going to have to learn to do a whole lot more exercise than just run to the school bus when he oversleeps in the morning.

The teenage girls have been inviting themselves over to get close to him. Magdalena Fyres was the first one to visit but I don't think Dashawn liked her too much.

He ended up hiding in the bathroom until she left.

The next day Rachael Patel came knocking at our door while I was doing my gardening.

They seemed to get along better.  It's nice to see that Dashawn's love life is going well but mine is a different story.  I need to find someone to help me continue on with this legacy but things aren't going so well.

Kayden came to deliver the mail today and I tried talking with him but he just didn't want to be bothered.  It was like I was annoying him or something.  There is one problem he is the only one who is in the same life stage as me.  The other two men I'm seeing are both older men.

My second choice was Luciano Merchant who is a gardner.  He certainly is attractive enough however he is very snobbish and he already admitted to being afraid of making committments.

Than there is the guy with the Harry Potter glasses who I already extended an invitation to move in with us.  His name is Israel Foster and he is a DJ.  The Harry Potter glasses will be the first thing to go when he moves in.  Nothing against those glasses as they are great for Harry but they don't do anything for Israel.

Here is Israel after his makeover.  To be honest I still haven't chosen between the three yet eventhough she moved Israel in.  I do need cowplant essences and I don't like risking my heir for them.

Diary of a Drifter-House 3b-Chapter 1-Third times the charm

Author's Note-It turns out that my second shot at this was another fail so I'm just going into the third time.  This time I'm sure it will be successful.  I do blame myself for playing so lax due to my work schedule on the last shot but it ended with the house not finished (which I could have just finished building as she had the funds) and only 18/20 fishes caught on the aspiration (that was the killer).
Ok here we go with attempt #3.

Here I am again in this empty lot starting out my life again not for the first or second time but the third!  I'm beginning to feel like a cat who has nine lives. Someone needs to get their act together up there so this family can move on. Well I'm not going to bore everyone with everything they already know.  I've been doing my rounds and I started off the same as I have everytime before so I will only tell you about the changes in my life.

Dashawn came to live with me again after Mom died but the circumstances around Mom's death were different this time.

Mom liked to call me up to go to parties with her which I accepted after I had the 1 K in my bank account according to rules.  Why she called my before that I haven't a clue since she knows fully well what the rules say.

The night started out great we were dancing and I met this mail carrier named Kayden Orr.  We seemed to hit it off right away.

However the night was to end tragically.  Mom passed away right than and there.

I begged and pleaded with Grim to spare her life but everything I said fell on deaf ears.  My Mom was with my father now so it was up to me to bring up my brother and keep the family legacy going.

I took this pretty hard and just cried in my tent for weeks but my friend Stacy dragged me out and gave me a lecture about how I had to move on with my life. I guess she was right my Mom wouldn't want us to mourn her that much.

She even sent me a text from the great beyond to send her condolences on her passing.

Something funny happened when I went to lunch with Stacy.  We didn't see it but everyone else in the restaurant was talking about it.  Look who was behind us across the street while we were eating.

It was ole Grim himself just floating by hoping to go unnoticed.  Sorry Grim when death comes to the neighborhood people notice.

I guess he is staking out this elder as he sat down and had a baked potato with him.  Gee I didn't know Grim liked baked potatoes.  Maybe if I would have made a steak dinner with baked potatoes he would have spared my Mom.

Well Stacy's words came through loud and clear.  I need to move on and start my life over again now.  I can't wallow in self pity or I might be doing this again someday.  Time to get moving and maybe I should give Kayden a call.

I was able to pick up Erica's grave and put it on the lot so I expect to start seeing visits from Erica's Ghost.

Diary of a Drifter House #3-Chapter 2-The Audrey 3

I know I'm supposed to be keeping this journal as part of my life's work but I have been so busy trying to sort out my life it's very hard to keep up.  I guess that is why my mother and grandmother just wrote notes here and there.  I intended on keeping things more organized than that.  I just wish life would go as I intended it to.  I'll just update on how my life is going from this point on and organize it better from here.

As I'm doing my rounds and trying to get some basic necessities I kept getting phone calls from my Mom.  I first found it strange that she wanted to go out on singles night so soon after my father died until I realized what her plan was.  She was worried about me finding a husband so everynight she tried to drag me to one function or another.

After I purchased a toilet, tent, shower, guitar, cooler and I had the required 1 K in my bank account so I gave in and went to a party at the Bluffs with my Mom.
This turned out to be a good decision as I did meet someone over there.

His name is Wilson McClain and he was the DJ working the party.  We seemed to connect as friends and he didn't mind me given him some hair and fashion advice.   He told me that he was homeless and I felt really bad about it.  I decided I would ask him to move in the next day as I really hated living alone and the idea of Wilson becoming my roommate sounded great to me.

I really didn't have much at the moment.  I able to put up some bathroom walls for privacy along with adding another tent for sleeping.

Eventhough I didn't have much to offer he accepted my offer and moved right in.

We spent the rest of the day talking and getting to know each other better.  We both found it inspiring to look at the clouds all day eventhough it might have not been the wisest idea to do so in the middle of the street.

Little did I know I would be getting another roommate in the near future.

Mom passed away soon after Dad.  My mother was never the same after Dad died and as much as I miss her I'm happy to know that the two of them are together again.  We had no choice but to sell Lovelace Landing to pay for the funeral cost and the mortgage due to the bank.  Dashawn didn't have anywhere to live and the family court did appoint me his legal guardian.  My brother moved in with me as soon as we closed the deal on the house.

Dashawn was another one who was in need of some fashion advice too.

So here I am trying to accomplish my life's goals to keep this family and its future generations from going back to the bin and I have two roommates to support on top of it all.

Whoa!  Would you look at that crazy plant.  I went to that secret fishing spot my mother told me about and I fished up an unusual seed.  It reminds me of something I seen in a

movie.  

I think that is the cowplant and I'm going to name it The Audrey 3.
