House 6 Chapter 2-Building a life

Dear Diary,

I knew Cruella being sent to live with me was just another cruel joke that fate has sent my way.  I decided not to let that get me down.  After all Cruella wasn't so bad once I got to know her.  She is just misunderstood.  As you can see I'm just trying to make the best out of a bad situation.  I once even tried to ask her out on a date but that didn't really work out that well and I decided that the dalmatians might not be the best idea.  Besides I don't want to pick up any more dog poo.  I gag just thinking about it.

I know I have to find myself a wife to continue the legacy and so I don't have to live with the crazy devil woman alone anymore.  Two women caught my eye and I knew I had to choose one of them.  First there was Vanessa Conner who I got along nicely with right away and she decided to move in without a second thought.  Later on I found out there was a problem though.

When she went for her makeover we found out she was an alien in disguise.  While this is not against the drifter rules its against someone else's rules.  A person who would rather me have children with one of the meanest Disney villains who wants to turn puppies into coats is fine with her but aliens apparently are not.  I do have to admit that alien voice is a bit annoying so its probably best that we keep it out of the family legacy.  However she moved in and as long as she stays in her disguise we are fine. She is a level 4 secret agent so she will be bringing some money in.

The other girl I met is Ariana Behr.  We clicked instantly and I called her up the next night for a date.  We had a couple of drinks and than I asked her over to my place.

We had a lot of fun dancing together and later we shared our first kiss.  

I knew she was perfect for me so I wasted no time.  I asked her to marry me the very next night and she agreed.

We didn't want to wait to get married so we tied the not right than and there.  I really should have insisted on taking a shower but what is a little body odor when you are in love.

Ariana's second makeover since moving in.  When I was looking through our photo albums I saw that she looked just like my Grandmother Tamika with that hair style and clothes so I gave her a credit card and she ran out yelling CHARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope not Cruella.  That is our gardener but she looks an awful like Cruella.

The rest of what is happening is pretty routine.  I spend the day gardening, painting, digging in dirt piles, chiseling rocks and yucky frog breeding.

Cruella has no problem with the frogs and she even thinks fishing is fun.  She also insisting on getting a job.  She works in Business and is on level 5 of that career.  We do anything to make some money. We have a long way to go before we hit $350 K.  We did manage to get a shell of a house built so we are making progress.

My goofy brother Gunner finally decided to get himself a job so we asked him to move in.  As I said we do anything for money around here which is good because we are really going to need it now.

Ariana wanted to talk to me this morning and guess what?

I'm going to be a daddy!

Diary of a Drifter House 5-Chapter 6-Growing Older

Dear Diary,

As you might be able to tell its been a while since I picked you up but basically there isn't much to tell.

Chevy and I both finished our careers and we had a few birthdays in the house.

The first one I rather not think about too much as it was my own.  The idea of gray hair, arthritis, and constant back aches was not too appealing to me. There was one good thing to look forward to, now that Chevy and I reached the top of the career ladder we decided to use all of our vacation days before we retire.

Here is a habit we need to change.  Emma is always begging for food especially when Deja is around.

The twins birthday were next.

Aiden aged up first and he rolled vegetarian for his trait.  He couldn't choose an aspiration as he was a bit confused on how he should lead his life which is probably a good idea.  Who knows what Grandma Darlene has in store for him.

Gunner was next and a have to say that both my boys did indeed grow up handsome.  Gunner rolled Glutton for his trait and his aspiration is City Native.  With how often he talks about San Myshuno I should have known he would want to move there someday.

We all decided that Brittney should inherit the house as she is already showing some artistic ability.

Deja aged up to but sadly we didn't get any of her birthday pictures.  I don't even have to mention who is responsible for that.  Anyways it doesn't look like she is growing old gracefully either.

Diary of a Drifter House 5-Chapter 5-The School Project Fiasco

Chevy and I are really starting to earn some money now that we are advanced in our careers.  We have been fixing up the house pretty nicely along with some fun items for us and the family to enjoy.

Photography always interested Chevy and he decided to set up a studio in the house.  He would spend all of his days off just taking pictures of all of our neighbors as they passed by.  We hung the best pictures around our studio and Chevy set up a photo journal. He got the idea from watching me writing in my journal every day.

It really shouldn't be a surprise that Chevy became an expert in Photography in practically no time at all.

I did something different with my bonus money.  I decided that this family needs more activity.  Obesity seems to be a family trait and I'm hoping that ends with my children.  I bought some exercise equipment for the house which Bentley and Aiden are always using.  I guess that comes easily to active sims.

I thought a pool sounded like a fun idea to and I couldn't believe that they could make a pool in the shape of a dog biscuit.  I'm such a dog lover that I couldn't resist it.  I mean why just get a square or round pool when you can get one that is more creative and fun.

There was only one problem with it.  Emma is the only one who swims in the pool regularly.  I guess everyone thinks that I bought the pool just for the dog since its shaped like a dog bone.  Either that or they are too lazy which explains the obesity problem in the family.

Than the bathing beauty has to fall sleep right outside in the sun.  Poor thing so tired from her workout or she decided to work on her tan.  You just gotta love how a dog can just sack out whenever they want and wherever they want.

We were doing so well remembering birthdays when Bentley's birthday sort of sneaked up on us.

Chevy's birthday was soon after and this time we remembered to bake a cake.

And the last birthday was Brittney. She rolled the Rambunctious Scamp Aspiration and Loner Trait.

Usually they are the best of friends but all of a sudden Gunner went through a mean phase. The doll house was always broken which made poor little Brittney cry over her dollies but than he moved onto something different.

I was out grilling some burgers for dinner and came in to find Aiden crying.  He was working on a school project and walked away for a minute for a potty break only to find it smashed when he returned. Gunner was laughing away in the other room and he didn't even deny that he did it when questioned.

I comforted Aiden first and I assured him this would all be fixed.  I told Gunner he would have to help his brother rebuild the project something he wasn't willing to do but I didn't give him much of a choice.

To be even more defiant, Gunner went into the art studio and grabbed some of my paints and throw them on the floor to make a big giant mess.  I was ready to scream some forbidden words but thought better as that would have made the situation even worse.  I couldn't let Gunner get away with this so I had no choice but to deal with it.

I put Gunner in a time out figuring that some quiet time to think about what he did would do him some good.  Aiden resumed rebuilding his project and I decided to assist him.

After some time had past I let Gunner out of time out but I made him clean up the mess he made with the paints.  He clearly wasn't happy as he mumbled something under his breath.  I just shot him a look and he put his head down and went back to work quietly.

After Gunner finished cleaning I asked him to join us and I talked to both of them.  The whole thing was pretty silly.  Gunner was upset that Aiden was always picked for teams in the school yard before him.  Aiden is athletic like his father and Gunner struggles a bit with sports.  I explained to Gunner that he shouldn't be jealous of his brother as he has his own talents and Aiden offered to help Gunner practice more to improve.

After that all three of us worked on the project and happily completed it. Just another day in the Platinum house.
